What provider reputation means

Provider reputation combines mailbox-provider evidence and sending-provider health without claiming to fix delivery by itself.

  • Google Postmaster is a live read-only OAuth connector for Gmail-side domain reputation, spam rate, compliance, and traffic evidence.
  • Microsoft SNDS is a guided import for Outlook.com-side IP evidence from approved SNDS exports.
  • Yahoo Sender Hub is a guided import for approved feed files or ARF/CFL complaint evidence.
  • Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, and Postmark remain planned until read-only credential connectors pass contract and smoke tests.

Google Postmaster live connector

Connect Google from the domain monitoring dashboard when the Google account already has Postmaster access to the sending domains.

  • WillItInbox stores the integration, lists Google Postmaster domains, links them to monitored domains, and runs syncs.
  • Some domains return no data until Google exposes enough Gmail traffic; that is shown as provider no-data, not a broken account.
  • Disconnecting removes usable integration state and linked provider-domain evidence for the account.

Microsoft SNDS guided import

Use SNDS for IP-based Outlook.com evidence when you own the sending IPs or ASNs and have access to the current SNDS export.

  • Supported evidence: CSV or TSV export rows.
  • Mapped fields include IP address, date, filter result, complaint rate, trap hits, JMRP complaints, and message recipients.
  • The preview step shows row count, detected IP assets, invalid rows, and snapshot dates before final import.

Yahoo Sender Hub guided import

Use Yahoo evidence when you have approved Sender Hub feed files or CFL/ARF complaint evidence for your sending domain.

  • Supported evidence: Yahoo feed CSV/TSV and ARF/CFL complaint messages.
  • Feed imports normalize domain/IP delivery, complaint, folder, and error metrics when present.
  • ARF/CFL imports require the related sending domain so the evidence can be attached to the right monitored asset.

Evidence, not a guarantee

Provider evidence helps explain changes, but it is not a warmup, whitelist, repair, or inbox-placement guarantee.

  • Use provider evidence beside domain scans, DMARC sources, placement diagnostics, incident reports, and list quality.
  • Never paste provider tokens, signed URLs, AWS secrets, or API keys into guided import evidence.
  • Planned ESP connectors will stay roadmap-only until encrypted read-only credential storage and sync loops are production-smoke-tested.

FAQ

Are Microsoft SNDS and Yahoo Sender Hub fully automatic connectors?

No. They are guided dashboard imports. Google Postmaster is the live automated connector today.

Are Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, and Postmark live?

No. They remain planned until read-only credential connector flows and smoke tests are complete.

Does provider reputation guarantee inbox placement?

No. It is read-only evidence that helps explain sender health. It does not warm up, whitelist, repair, or guarantee inbox placement.
